Neo Burner was conceptualized to create a smoother experience for event attendees to use the Neo ecosystem for the first time. Neo Burner is an instant wallet that is accessible by scanning a QR code and gaining access to a wallet pre-loaded with NEO, GAS, or any other NEP-based protocol for tokens.

The concept was primarily inspired by the cypherpunk speakeasies Austin Griffith held in early 2019.
Neo Burner was seeded by a COZ microgrant, and has since begun to spin up. In the GitHub repo, there’s currently a paper wallet generator, which was first used at a Neo Colorado event in February 2020.
The on-going project welcomes development support from front-end and back-end developers, as well as testers. We’d love to hear your input!
